DR. B'S HEALTH ACADEMY

I put 3rd Thursdays with Dr. B together because after years of working with patients one-on-one and having great success I had a goal of sharing my treatment strategies and knowledge with more than one patient at a time. 

I have seen many people struggle with their symptoms and I want to help you change that! 3rd Thursdays are the beginning of Dr. B's Health Academy.

These classes are for you if:

​

  • You're suffering from, “shiny object syndrome” bouncing from one idea, or one guaranteed supplement that’s supposed to work, time and time again. 

  • You have a cabinet full of vitamins, supplements that were supposed to be the key to getting rid of your symptoms.

  • You are tired of being told by everyone with an internet connection how, “If you just do this”, or “that”, you’ll fix your problem. It doesn't help and it’s not getting you anywhere. 

  • You’re just tired of researching. You belong to several Facebook groups, or you Google till your fingers hurt just trying to figure out what you can do.

  • You dream of a day when you can be symptom-free.

  • You're bored and have nothing else happening on a Thursday night. 

My goal is 9 modules in total. With a single new module every 3rd Thursday, laying the foundation for Dr. B's Health Academy.

 

Depending on the demand and success of these classes,

ALL RIGHT I'M INTERESTED WHAT'S THE CATCH?

You get to hang out with me! And, I'm a good storyteller, just ask my mom and the nuns from grade school. Seriously though, what makes a good story is the ability to take a subject matter and make it easy to follow, relatable, elicit thought on the listener, demystify a process and guide someone to the end.

My goal with 3rd Thursdays with Dr. B is to take the deep and often confusing part of medicine and make it easy to understand, engaging, and hopefully fun! I love to tell stories and make often difficult subject matter lighter and more digestible. Why? Because not everyone wants to go to medical school and read medical journals and papers for fun! Most of you have lives to live. 
 

At some point, we all invariably deal with health conditions over the course of our life. While it seems to many of us that our aches and pains or even our chronic health conditions pale in comparison to others who seem to be suffering more than us. Pain is relative. Meaning, that a disease or health challenges are unique to each and every one of us. My struggles may look small compared to others, but they, like yours, are ours to carry and learn from. 

 

Many of our branch conditions, fatigue, allergies, depression, gut disorders, and even immunity are often rooted in similar areas of our body.

WHY SHOULD I BE CONCERNED ABOUT HEALTH?

But, seriously, have you been around for the past 2-years? I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this point. 

 

One thing is for certain though. If there has ever, seriously, ever been a time where you need to understand health and wellness, it is right now! 

 

While there is no magic bullet to prevent sickness, or pill or shot that will make everything go away. There is a whole-body, complete approach to preventing and creating a rock-solid foundation for yourself and your family.

Now is the time to collectively learn as one big family how we got here and what we can do moving forward. Real healthcare takes real change. Real wellness requires a multicomponent, multifactored approach. It is not, nor will it ever be one thing. 

 

I have a few questions that I would like you to ask yourself?

  • How has your life changed over the past 2 years? 

  • Are you more or less afraid than you were 2 years ago? 

  • Do you think most people are afraid because they are uninformed, or receiving the wrong information? 

  • Do you think you would be more apt to dive into changing your lifestyle if you had a foundation from which to start?

  • If you learned an answer to a plaguing health question you've had for years, how would that change your life?

TRYING TO GET HEALTHY IS SO COMPLICATED!

Do you ever feel like you’ll never figure it out? No, not everything. But, your health issues that have been making a major impact on your life. They often redirect major shifts or paths in our lifetime. Whatever the reason shouldn't your health and wellness for you, or your family come first?


Personally, I had always suffered a little anxiety growing up, nothing major. It did prevent me from joining other kids outside or group activities often, but I always tried to work through and I often did, mainly through drawing and video games, and self-isolation. 


The anxiety though was always there though.

What I didn't realize was that over the years the anxiety was stemming from several, seemingly unrelated aspects of my life. From genetics, epigenetics, diet, environment, and even neurotransmitter dysregulation stemming from allergies finally coming together creating a perfect storm of dysregulation. Now for me, it was anxiety, for you, maybe depression, or IBS, or ADD. The point is everything is connected and once you see the patterns you can do something about it. 
 

YOU SAID LIMITED SEATING, THIS IS A SALES TECHNIQUE, RIGHT?

You're right it is a sales technique, but it's also because my clinic isn't that big, and in order to keep everyone comfy I am limiting the course to 8 people at a time. I know, it's not a lot of people and the purchase price will go to the highest bidder. Ok, that part's not true, but it would be interesting.

The cost is $40 per person, paid at the door of the event (cash, card, or check accepted).

The cost of each monthly series includes a one-hour lecture with Q&A session immediately after, downloadable content that you can start using immediately, and printed materials provided at the beginning of each event. Complimentary light fare and beverages provided.
